Conservation Strategies

Conservation Strategies

The programs are addressed through two conservation methodological tools: Project Management for Nature Conservation (PMWC) and Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation

EXPERIENCE IN THE TERRITORY

We work for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable development in the Maullín River and Lake Llanquihue basin.
The programs are a way of working with a long-term vision, and seek to comprehensively improve the status of conservation targets in a given geographic area.

The projects address specific threats and problems with a short-term vision. They are considered conservation strategies and can be carried out separately or as part of a broader program.

At the heart of the foundation are its programs and in practice, its projects, which is the most concrete way to do conservation.
