The Sustainable Tourism outings, in partnership with tour operators, provide conservation experiences to travelers visiting the territory, involving them in activities associated with projects, acting as volunteers, whether in cleanups, reforestation, or other activities.
The activity not only generates a financial contribution through a donation from tourists, but also makes the biodiversity of the Maullín River and its wetlands visible, and shows visitors the cultural heritage and local reality.
During 2022, 28 people participated in sustainable tourism outings.
