FIRST SYNTROPHIC AGRICULTURE TOUR IN CHILE

Syntrophic Agriculture is one of the most comprehensive and effective regenerative practices to restore ecosystems, revitalize local economies and strengthen the social tissue.

The tour aims to bring this unique practice to Chile, with the objective of providing tools to implement ‘syntrophic agroforestry systems’ together with Namasté Messerschmidt, one of the world’s leading references on the subject.

The tour will take place from 7 to 21 December 2022 with activities in Santiago and Puerto Varas.

Includes:

  • 2 intensive 3-day courses on syntrophic agriculture
  • 2 on-site seminars
  • 2 open meetings
  • Technical visits and consultancies
  • Conversations and virtual events
  • And more…

“There is an urgent need to popularize

a production system that,

while producing tons of

delicious and healthy food,

recovers degraded areas, returns

water to drained springs,

and brings our forests back”.

José Fernando Rebello and Daniela Ghiringhello Sakamoto. 2021. Syntrophic Agriculture According to Ernst Götsch.

Namasté Messerschmidt

Is one of the greatest references in Syntrophic Agriculture in the world. Agroforestry educator and technical coordinator of Agroflorestando ao Pé da Planta, he has studied and practiced regenerative agriculture for more than 20 years, bringing the knowledge to all continents.

This course, held by Namasté Messerschmidt, deals with the fundamental aspects of Syntrophic Agroforestry Systems (SAFS) from a theoretical and practical perspective, developing the fundamentals, applications, potentials and challenges. This is backed by more than 40 years of applied research in Brazil and more recently in the rest of the world.
Join this tour and learn about one of the most comprehensive and effective practices for restoring soils, returning water to springs, producing healthy and tasty food, strengthening local economies and creating climate-resilient agro-ecosystems.
